  • Score Reporting
As the pool results will be determined by sets won lost, and the tie breaker will be determined by set won and lost, we will need the scores from each match. At the end of each match, we require the captain to:
    - Report the match results online via captialvolley.ca (e.g. 3-1, 3-2, 3-0)
    - Take a photo of the completed scoresheet and email it to chantalv@capitalvolley.ca

  • Pool Scoring
Match won 3-0; 3-1 = 3 points for winner and 0 points for loser
Match won 3-2 = 2 points for winner and 1 point for loser
    Match forfeited = 0 points (25-0;25-0;25-0)

  • Tie Breakers in Pool Play

Set ratio = If two (2) or more teams are tied on the number of points gained, they will be classified in descending order by the division of number of all sets won by the number of all sets lost.

Points ratio = If the tie still persists based on the set ratio, the teams will be classified in descending order by the division of all points scored by the total of points lost during all sets.

Draw =  = If the tie continues to persist based on the point ratio, there will be a draw for rankings
